Manager - Business Development - FinTech Startup (1-4 yrs)

Overview :

You'll be responsible for researching and identifying sales opportunities, generating leads and maintaining relationships with existing clients. You will need to discuss and match the needs of your business customers, attend face-to-face meetings and deliver polished presentations that outline the benefits of our service.

Major Responsibilities :

- Responsible to lead the business development efforts for a particular industry segment / Region / Accounts

- Build business development strategy for the industry segment - Sizing, Segmentation, and Roadmap

- Work with Senior Management team to determine most effective and efficient directions and process for growing company sales and revenues

- Actively manage the entire sales engagement from lead generation to transactions initiation

- Report on Business plan, Budgets, monthly achievements to Management, Internal report preparation for monthly presentations / financial statement preparation. Ability to analyse the business reports of Managers and engineers and take necessary measures

- Create, develop and foster new customers based on market trends and new opportunities; Engage with the client base on a continuous basis to generate more sales

- Responsible for achieving profitability of accounts as per the targets

- Achieve the set targets for the industry sector handled; Drive the requirements definition for the IT Products to be built for the customers

- Identify and negotiate successful partnerships and alliances with third parties to increase overall brand awareness and attract quality leads from the target markets and industries;

- Manage ongoing partner relationships; Perform analysis of market opportunities and emerging trends; Collect and synthesize new ideas for future product development.

- Conceptualize, develop and implement the Sales and Marketing strategy for the responsible location in alignment to the overall business objectives

- New client acquisition, account management for existing clients

- Delivering on sales targets defined

- Lead profiling, Follow-ups, Proposal management, and other related BD operations

- Suggest innovative marketing ideas and deploy implementation strategies to consistently increase the engaged consumer base and establish an unmatched brand positioning
