Working in the India team, and reporting to the Enterprise Sales - Lead India, your role is of an aggressive sales hunter who drives sustainable growth for the company across accounts and geographies. You'll be responsible for building effective enterprise sales channels for the organisation in India to empower the employees of these enterprises to effectively grow in their careers and land the next promotion. Responsibilities: - This is an individual contributor role and doesn't involve team management. - As a sales hunter, drive the entire sales cycle from initial customer engagement to closed sales - Showcase high-tech learning solutions as a strategic fit for the customer organization thru workshops, boot camps &amp; strategy meets. - Prospect for potential customers using various direct methods such as calling &amp; F2F meetings,&amp; indirect methods such as networking - Navigate around sales barriers of entry &amp; ability to sell through pricing compression and maintain high margins on new sales - Qualify prospects against company criteria for ideal customers and sales - Maintain high awareness of relevant domain knowledge, the competitive landscape, market pricing and strategy in order to have meaningful conversations with prospects from cold call to drafting &amp; delivering proposals - Consult with prospect about business challenges and requirements, as well as the range of options and cost benefits of each. - Work with internal stakeholders, subject matter experts and product specialists where required to address customer requirements - Strong skills in prospecting, replacing an incumbent vendor, and protecting the installed base - Leverage sales through partnerships, be that indirect channel partners, referrals, carrier relationships, and the like - Participate in trade shows and local area networking events - Demonstrate knowledge of a process for developing and managing a territory including forecasting, quota attainment, sales presentations, short-term, mid-term, and long-term opportunity management - Provide feedback and input on product roadmap for India market - Develop and maintain sales plans which outline how sales targets will be met on an ongoing basis - Work with marketing to plan and execute lead generation campaigns - Provide forecasts on best case and most likely sales volumes over relevant time periods - Report on sales activity along with keeping CRM updated - Provide feedback to company management on market trends, competitive threats, unmet needs, and opportunities to deliver greater value to customers by extending company offerings Requirements - Passion for education - At least 5 years of related experience (8-10 years for engineering graduate) in enterprise or corporate sales and business development, in solutions sales/ consultative sales in a technology or IT services company. - Proven track record of selling technically complex products - Experience selling subscription based licenses, retaining and upselling to customers - Strong customer references around customer passion, long term relationships and solving problems - Existing strong relationships with leaders within functions of human resource, recruitment, learning &amp; development and training in large corporates &amp; enterprises. - This is an individual contributor role, which will require travel both local as well as outstation. - Exceptional analytical, verbal, and written communication skills - Creative and open to new ideas and adaptable in a fast-paced, start-up environment - Passionate about helping others - Negotiates fiercely and protects and nurtures relationships - Comfortable with autonomy and uncertainty, Get things done
