Business Development Manager
Location: Chennai 2, Coimbatore -1
Experience : 3 to 5 years
Industry : Education(SaaS), Insurance, Telecom, Banking. Start up experience is an added advantage.
- We are looking for a motivated and well-spoken Education Development Manager (EDM) to join our sales team. The EDM will be responsible for developing new leads, communicating with customers, understanding their needs, and deal closure.
- The key is to be able to close sales and achieve targets.
1. Build a database of schools in the assigned territory.
2. Make high-impact pitches to school management online or face to face and get academic buy-in.
3. Understanding customers' needs and identifying sales opportunities. This includes convincing key stakeholders not limited to the school principals and teachers.
4. Commercial negotiations & closing deals.
5. Follow established sales processes and policies.
1. Experience in B2B EdTech space is a must.
2. 2-4 years of relevant experience in Sales with a consultative selling approach.
3. MBA ideally but not necessary for a good candidate.
4. Highly motivated and collaborative team player with an ability to work in a fast-paced & high-growth environment.
5. A salesperson with exceptional communication, persuasion & negotiation
