Job Description

- Being the project manager for the GRR Collections (Global) SAPM team.

- Act as a consultant for a business region(s). Thoroughly go through MI Reports and collaborate with RBWM risk, connect the business trend relationships and do portfolio reviews with senior management in the regions.

- Question status quo and follow up and drive actions on portfolios collaborating with Risk heads of the countries.

- Strong understanding of business domain, its strategic direction, functional goals, and the required technical expertise.

- Sees the 'bigger picture' and assesses relationships between recommended analytical solutions / projects and business performance.

- Makes decisions, even with ambiguous /incomplete data at a pace that balances the need for further analysis and the need for timely decision given business pressures / requirements.

- Drives timely decision making and actions to address systemic obstacles.

Complete any other duties /assignments from ACOE and GR.

- Prepare and analyze trends (PC and/or UNIX/LINUX using SAS or relational database analysis software), review findings with related management and make appropriate recommendations. This includes data extraction, data mining, validation, analysis, interpretation, and presentation of results and recommendations.

- Develop a comprehensive suite of reporting to effectively monitor campaign/portfolio performance and/or communicate major risk drivers.

- Participate in adhoc analysis to help answer questions posed by the executive management team or other business areas.

- Monitor and analyse risk strategies and models to enhance business decision making.

- Provide business insights and add value to existing reports using available information

- Action oriented and on time reporting & analysis to meet customer expectations.

- Provide consultancy services to various business functions

- Support other analytical needs of the business

Skills/Experience Required

1. B.Tech or Masters degree in Mathematics/ Statistics/ Economics/Engineering or equivalent quantitative subjects

2. Strong analytical skills with 5+ years of proven business analysis experience or equivalent. Knowledge and understanding of financial-services/ banking-operations preferred.

3. Advanced knowledge of SAS, SQL and other equivalent analytical tools is necessary. VBA knowledge is preferred.

4. Ability to comprehend intricate and diverse range of business problems and analyze them with limited or complex data and provide a feasible solution framework.

5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

6. Ability to work in cross-functional teams.
