Manager - Business Analytics (Purchase Analytics) - Automobile


- Actively partners with multiple stakeholders including sourcing leadership team, external solution provider suppliers' team to meet the ongoing business requirements.

- Enable leadership team in effective decision making by providing timely, accurate and actionable insights for all the enterprise businesses.

- Creates strategic roadmaps across the functions for enabling data driven business transformation

- Conceptualize & Drive analytics led digital transformation in Strategic sourcing, Spend analytics, Spares business, capacity planning & other Purchase functions.

- Conceptualization & evaluation of business cases for key projects

- Act as an interface between sourcing & data science team to drive business benefit for requirement gathering, conceptualization, implementation, changement management to driving benefits

- Lead digitization projects implementation across functions to ensure project timelines & ROI

- Assessing the existing KPI's/reports of assigned businesses/functions, identifying the gaps in current process, proposing necessary changes to business partners and playing an active role in implementing the proactive mechanisms in measuring & driving business results.

- Drive Data quality and enrichment projects to create analytics backbone

- Drive analytics backed business impact by supporting in decision making areas such as Share of business mgmt, Supplier network optimization, Capacity planning, Cost reduction through regression analysis, building resilient supply chain, cash flow management, analytics based cost management. Analyze financial impacts to provide recommendations.

- Use business data and statistical methods to provide insight into business performance and suggest area and method of improving operations.

- Identify data platforms to create analytics data backbone, conduct vendor and analytic platforms assessment for transformation initiatives

- Analyzing trends & providing proactive recommendations to the leadership team by highlighting potential risks & opportunities of the business.

- Partner with Operations leadership on ad hoc projects/reporting as per the ongoing business requirements.
