Manager - Brand & Communication - Motor Sports (8-15 yrs)

JOB PURPOSE / ROLE :

The incumbent will be responsible for managing the Brand & Communications functions related to the motorsports department. The Role will need the incumbent to lead key initiatives and support projects and activities across the areas of marketing communications, brand management, events management and race support.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

In alignment with the Race Team Management and relevant stakeholders

1. Brand & Communications:

This role will be the champion for taking the voice of the organisation team across internal and external audience.

1.a Brand & Digital sub-function:

- Lead the brand strategy and communications direction for organisation

Conceptualize, Build and Manage all Digital channels:

- Website - Manage the design, user experience, content and technology aspects of the website

- Develop a rolling roadmap for website and social media content keeping in mind the race calendar and the upcoming major events.

- Manage the audience engagement on all platforms by coming up with new communication ideas

- Create the amplification plan for all races and brand events
 
Content - Strategy and execution :

- Conceptualize content required to sustain all the platforms.

- Closely involve in creation with agency giving continuous feedback and direction

- Plan Execute and Participate in team video shoots to ensure the right output

Media:

- Decide on the advertising mix for our Ads

- Review and approve the media plan and creative.

- Monitor campaigns for RoI efficiency.

Agency and Budget Management :

- For website, social and advertising requirements

- Manage agency performance and pay outs

1.b Communications Sub Faction - External & Internal:

- Complete management of communications during the international and national races.

- Define the Pre, Race and Post communication plan along with the digital agency.

- Manage the entire daily Race reporting during the race days including coordination with our European partners and the Corporate communication department

- Ensure all Race updates are updates across all our social media handles in coordination with the digital agency and our international race team and photographers/videographers.

- Responsible for all internal engagement activities to enhance brand building within CIT.

- Create, manage and execute all formats of internal communications.

2. Support all racing events of the brand across the Indian market and export markets

- Develop & implement Event calendar with agencies and internal stakeholders

- Identifying and developing different Event & activations opportunities for Brand building

- Lead Brand Merchandise operations including demand generation, inventory management and distribution channels

3. Unit Operations

- Responsible for budget management and various reports and presentations required for internal reviews

- Interface and work with internal departments like HR, Finance, Legal, Travel etc. to facilitate various activities.

- Vendor management, process and documentation

- Managing operational and administrative functions to ensure projects are delivered efficiently.
