The candidate will be responsible for financial planning, managing brand P&Ls, evaluation of new products, measuring effectiveness of marketing spends, working capital management etc.
In particular, the role to include -
1. Brand Financials :
- Meeting top-line/bottom-line estimates of brands, highlighting variances/concerns
- Ensuring brand profitability at targeted level, keeping tight control on costs and promotion spends
- Liaise with marketing & sales team on pricing decisions
- Channel wise profitability
2. New product development evaluation & launch :
- Conducting thorough financial analysis at identified stages of new product development (NPD) evaluation
- Feasibility study of NPD basis GM, capex requirement, market sizing &estimation
3. Financial Planning & Analysis :
- Analyse expenses, track revenue and expenses closely, drive cost reduction initiatives wherever possible
- Involve in Annual Budgeting exercise, should be able to independently explain variances between budget and actuals
- Optimise working capital and help in releasing cash
- Forecast business performance over next quarter, year, 5 years to develop Strategy Roadmap for the company
