Position based with a Global Private Equity Fund in Mumbai.
Job Role
- Understand benefit plans and policies in order to respond to employee benefit inquiries globally
- Process monthly insurance carrier invoices; review/audit invoices for accuracy before coding for payment
- Assist with coordination of all leaves of absence
- Serve as liaison between various benefit carriers and employees, responding to inquiries in a timely manner
- Conduct weekly benefit orientation
- Assist with annual benefit renewals for global offices including preparing presentation decks for Senior Management review/approval.
- Prepare employee benefit communications, including annual benefit guides
- Coordinate organization wellness initiatives such as health fairs, external exclusive group fitness classes and on-site wellness initiatives.
- Manage workflow to ensure all benefit transactions are processed and communicated accurately to payroll
- Work with the HRIS (Workday) team on projects, as needed specifically with the setup for Annual Open Enrollment for all global locations
- Manage Corporate Discount Programs including but not limited to gym memberships, spa discounts, rental car programs, etc.
- Administer Educational Assistance Program
- Expert ability to deliver world-class customer service including providing information on accrued vacation and other Human Capital policy-related questions.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Ability to work flexible hours; sometimes overlapping/coordinating with New York-based Benefits Team
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in a related field
- Exposure/experience with payroll a plus
- Strong computer proficiency especially in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Working knowledge of Workday preferred but not required
- Exceptional analytical, interpersonal, verbal and written skills
