Regulatory Compliance Transformation (RCT) are the central project management team that deliver large scale global Transformation projects for the Regulatory Compliance (RC) organisation. Currently the team spends most of its time supporting and delivering the initiatives required as part of the Strategic Vision which aims to improve & modernise the RC organisation in line with the organization roadmap.

All RC Transformation initiatives are governed through a demand/delivery model enabling priorities to be assessed, an associated business case to be reviewed and approved with deliveries prioritised against these business cases and ensuring alignment with the strategic vision.

Working with Compliance functions and the Business to implement solutions, engaging stakeholders on a Global, regional and Business Line model as appropriate, the job holder will lead the RC Transformation Team in India, Poland and China from a capability and delivery perspective and manages major transformation, comprising multiple delivery programmes, which deliver and support the Group strategy, values and behaviours.

This role acts as a primary contact for the business / function and is expected to play the role of a - trusted advisor- to the head of respective business / function by constructively challenging their thinking and helping them prioritise their change needs.

This role is accountable for making complex decisions, quality assurance and delivering high value financial improvement initiatives.

Working in the RC Transformation team, the Lead reports into the Head of RC Transformation.

The jobholder is required to adopt and ensure alignment with the wider Risk change portfolio and the Group Strategy, Values and Behaviours.

Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications

Knowledge

- Strong understanding of banking / and understanding of how change drives benefits for an organization its customers and other stakeholders

- Very strong knowledge of the external environment - regulatory, political, competitors etc.

- Strong technical knowledge in relation to Regulatory Compliance systems and processes

- Business re-engineering knowledge

- Strong understanding of Agile Change Delivery Principles

- Advanced Change management and implementation management techniques and approaches

Experience

- Graduate or post graduate, with 14+ years of experience

- Excellent track record of delivering large scale change for global multinational (ideally, within a Regulatory Compliance environment).

- Strong understanding of Agile Change delivery principles and able to execute using Agile techniques

- Detailed understanding of change management methodology, associated objectives and experience of the full change lifecycle

- Excellent communication, inter-personal and negotiating skills

- Proven ability to work across regions and with senior stake holders / business sponsors

- People management and leadership experience is essential

- Prior experience in process re-engineering is an added advantage
