Manager/AVP - CCAR Model Implementation - SAS/SQL - BFSI (5-12 yrs)
Job Description
This position will focus on model implementation support and oversight for Citi's Global unsecured portfolios, including credit cards and personal installment loans.
Roles and Responsibility:
- Using Python or SAS, independently replicate modeling code/results, perform data analysis to investigate any discrepancies, prepare validation summaries and discrepancy examples where applicable.
- Optimize programs for efficiency and simplicity, prepare and present data flow diagrams and related process documentation.
- Work with Modelers, Business Teams, and IT to assist in the implementation of models into system of record production environments.
- Support and document UAT and PIT results.
- Create code packages and document all implementation related activities including QA/QC steps.
- Provide ongoing support to Modeling and Business teams. Qualifications
- Advanced Degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or other comparable field.
- 5+ YEARS programming experience.
- Strong programming skills (Python, SAS, SQL), Java a plus.
- Linux/Unix operating system experience.
- Strong data processing, data analysis, and problem solving skills.
- Ability to optimize and simplify complex code and present in code reviews.
- Good communication skill to explain technical information verbally and in writing to both technical and non-technical audiences, with attention to detail.
- Must have strong time and project management skills. Ability to initiate projects and manage delegated tasks to completion. Ability to adjust to changes in priorities and work on multiple projects at one time.
- Strong MicroSoft Office Skills.
- Strong Team Player. Education:
- Bachelor- s/University degree or equivalent
