Our client is a strategic and business consulting company founded in 2002 and is based out of Bangalore, India. Name of the company will be revealed to all candidates who clear our resume based screening. A. Academic Qualification - Qualified Chartered Accountant B. Age - Below 30 years (Male or Female) C. Location of Work - Jayanagar, Bangalore D. Role and Position - Would be leading Professional Support Group of Floraison India Strategic Consulting as Manager Audit &amp; Tax. E. Relevant Experience - Qualified professional, with around 3 + years of post-qualification experience in client servicing, providing professional consultancy or delivery of audit &amp; tax services. Experience in accounting/audit firm or company, handling multiple clients would be considered relevant experience. Industry experience would not be considered as relevant experience. F. Job Description : AUDIT : - Professionally co-ordinate with accounting team to provide suitable responses to queries by parent company on matters arising in relation to F&amp;A engagements - Support accounting team to finalize, and close annual books of accounts, provide guidance for preparation of Schedule III together with financials, notes, assumptions &amp; comments, directors report, MRL etc - Independently, observe due compliance of accounting standards, guidance notes &amp; other requirements of ICAI or any other regulation. - Provide support to accounting team to manage &amp; close audit by statutory auditors, including responding to audit queries and supplying explanations. - Provide professional advisory &amp; opinions to accounting team or to clients, where called for, including holistic participation in discussions. DIRECT &amp; INDIRECT TAX : - Provide support with proactive tax planning for clients to adopt optimized &amp; well thought out tax structure &amp; help legitimately reduce tax liability. - Professionally &amp; independently try to understand, assess &amp; advise the tax implications of specific transactions, events, or business decisions of clients. - Review advance tax computation for clients &amp; ensure proper &amp; timely remittance. - Closely work with the accounting team to help them collate &amp; provide inputs, statements, schedules &amp; reconciliations to Income tax auditors. - Closely review the preparation &amp; filing of corporate income tax returns including certification of computation of minimum alternate tax in form 56F &amp; ICDS. - Closely review &amp; guide the process of preparing transfer pricing study report as per Rule 10D. - Closely review the preparation &amp; filing of transfer pricing certificate in form 3CEB, form 3CEA &amp; 3CEAB - CbC reporting where necessary. - Support accounting team to draft responses to notices, assessments, responses to tax queries by authorities, compile and provide information &amp; explanation etc. - Provide professional advisory &amp; opinions to accounting team or to clients, where called for, including holistic participation in discussions on all direct &amp; indirect tax matters. G. Knowledge and Skills required : 1. Sound knowledge of corporate accounting practices, procedures, and policies. 2. Knowledge, experience, and passion for Client servicing. 3. Abilities to multitask and handle multiple clients. 4. Presentable and good communication skills, both oral and written. 5. Pro-active, dynamic, energetic and go-getter. H. Software and Accounting Packages - 1. Working experience in Tally or Quick-books or other similar ERP 2. Expertise in handling MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Outlook 3. Familiar with handling tax filing software I. Other Relevant points - 1. Preference to local candidates from in and around Bangalore. 2. Should be flexible to work long hours if required. 3. Should be passionate towards career in Audit and Tax. 4. Should be willing to commit minimum of 2+ years of continuous service.
