Manager/Assistant Vice President - Underwriting - Insurance Domain - Management Consulting Firm

Operations job opportunity in Noida for a passionate individual having an experience of 6+ years in Underwriting in the Insurance domain (Life Insurance, General Insurance, Health Insurance) with a leading global firm. You will be responsible for service delivery, underwriting management, general operations management and client and team management for a US-based Insurance client.

Responsibilities:

- Supervising the day to day operational activities, ensuring that all processes are followed & executed and that deadlines are met

- Providing management, support, guidance, and consultation to medical underwriters and project management team

- Setting Up and reviewing the underwriting guidelines and requirements for insurance (Life and Non-Life Insurance) products.

- Developing, coaching, inspiring and evaluating team members and quality checks for underwritten cases

- Managing the internal and external audits while ensuring the satisfactory rating in compliance and audit reviews

Requirements:

- A Graduate/Post Graduate from Tier 1 / Tier 2 college with 6+ years of Underwriting experience

- Hands on experience on medical underwriting of insurance business (Life, Health, General Insurance)

- Team leading experience of at least 4+ years.

- Excellent written, oral and presentation skills.
