ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES :
- This individual will be responsible for setup of team, develop business and delivery of work for an internal International engagements (inter firm).
- This individual will be a part of the offshore delivery team and work with onshore engagement teams to supporting programmes across the globe to restructure and navigate through difficult change agendas. Responsibilities will include:
- Supporting Design, Mobilisation and Delivery Execution of activities on strategic programmes managing work across dimensions of Project Management Office/ Programme management Office, Investment Management and Change Management/ Adoption
- Supporting multiple programmes across above workstreams to create a centralized support organization offshore
- Developing and maintaining complex programme management plans, integrated master schedule, weekly and monthly reporting and financial management
- Identifying, recommending and implementing appropriate tools, methods and templates that are required within the centralized organization.
- Complete handle and clarity on the commercial/ financial performance of a project/ programme
- Support creation, validation and analysis of project budgets and financial health
- Developing PMO supporting methodology, SOPs, and artifact templates.
- Engaging with key stakeholders and client subject matter experts.
- Developing programme briefings.
- Communication and outreach to programme teams.
- Implementing Lessons Learned analysis and Quality Assurance.
- Ensuring services are delivered using best in class practices and methodologies
- Handle all operations for an effective working of the team
- Advise onshore stakeholders on best practice methodologies in terms of offshore operating model design, systems, processes and policies and contribute in building the capability
- Support in business development and building relationships with stakeholders
- Co-ordinate, work-closely with onshore leadership and manage relationship with them. Also build awareness of other company's capabilities to facilitate selling these services
- THE INDIVIDUAL AND EXPECTED SKILLS
- A minimum of 8-10 years of work experience including at least 6-8 years in project management with a leading professional services firm (e.g. international consulting firm, Big 4, IT Enabled Services Industry)
- Project Management/ Programme Management/ PMO/ Change Management/ Transitions Management experience for large transformation engagements (IT, Finance, HR, Sourcing, Procurement, Supply Chain/Operations) for European or Global Clients
- Full PMO experience with comptetency across all project management knowledge areas, including experience of working in an Agile environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Project, PowerPoint and Excel
- Experience with other PM Tools such as Clarizen, Clarity, Changepoint, Planview, etc. would be useful
- Maturity to deal with routine tasks independently and is ready for roles on complex, challenging assignments
- Possesses good business and industry knowledge across key sectors (like telecommunications, media, technology, energy, pharmaceuticals/healthcare, manufacturing, financial services, insurance, banking) etc.
- Language skills: English (proficient). Other global language capabilities will be an added advantage
- Ability to work effectively in a virtual environment
- Organised approach and able to work under pressure
- PMP/ ACP/ CSM Certification is a must have.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence and manage people in a matrix reporting structure.
- Ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative data quickly and draw meaningful insights
- Willingness to work in a highly demanding and results oriented team environment where priorities can change frequently
- Highly focused on detail and accuracy of information presented.
- Willingness to travel overseas for extended periods if required
