Manager/Assistant Manager - Credit Risk - Investment Bank

Our client is a Boutique Investment Banking Firm with Wealth Management/ Corporate Finance/ Institutional Equities/ Private Equity/ Structured Fiance/ NBFC/ Equity Capital Markets divisions.

They are looking for Manager/ Asst Manager in Credit Risk Function.

Reporting to: Group Risk Head

Experience: 3-8 years

Educational Qualifications: CA/ CFA/ FRM/ MBA- Finance

Key Skills Required:

Functional:

- Extensive expertise in Credit risk management

- Comprehensive knowledge and experience in conceptualizing & implementing credit risk management framework based on organizations risk appetite

- Credit risk assessment for wholesale and structured lending products

- Lending against Real estate

- Lending against shares

- Lending against charge on book debts and cash flows etc.

- Ability to take credit decisions in a timely manner and present to risk committee with recommendations

- Communicating with business CEO and Risk committee on a regular basis

- Experience in managing market risk and operational risk would be an added advantage

Key Role Responsibilities :

- Responsible for researching and analyzing credit risks, assessing credit history and approving or denying extension of credit to potential customers.

- Gathering information from credit agencies or analyzing financial information, such as company accounts, balance sheets, assets, trading history and projected growth plans

- Seeking references and confirming their validity and value

- To present the credit proposal to Risk Committee with recommendations

- Responsible for ongoing monitoring of the credit portfolio and suggest corrective actions if required

- Any experience/knowledge of broking industry would be an added advantage

- Preparing MIS / Portfolio reports for presentation to Committees / Forums.
