Civil Engineering Expert

a)Qualification and Experience:

- BE Civil with PG in Engineering/ Construction Management/Technology with 15 years of experience in managing multiple urban infrastructure/ roads & highways/ institutional & commercial buildings projects, in the capacity of project engineer/ construction manager/ project manager.

b)General Job Description:

- Oversee the planning and execution of the urban infrastructure/ smart city development - lead the project execution strategy, work with urban planning specialists to transform the Master Plan into realized projects.

- Support Clients in overall Project Management and coordination with implementing agencies, government agencies, private players, technology service providers

- Identify specific implementation projects, project packaging and sequencing necessary to meet project ratgets

- Work with implementation team to ensure the planning vision is carried through to executio

- Work with the Finance team to ensure project sequencing is consistent with the funding plan

- Conduct gap assessment of urban & social infrastructure including health, education, housing and recreational facilities with respect to projected requirements, and to cater to envisaged activity mix and potential demand in the urban zone.

- Responsible for providing technical expertise, engineering design management & overview, specification and construction of all civil structures systems, work procedure, inspecting the works and providing assistance on field, as per task assigned.

- He shall also assist in establishing quality assurance systems, work procedure, inspecting the works and providing assistance on field develop method statements, work procedures, direct team members/ engineers, inspect works, and provide assistance to Construction Managers, Procurement and Engineering Managers.

- Scrutinize construction methods proposed by implementing agency including environmental, safety, personnel and public issues;

- Overview and audit of construction supervision of various contract packages for related outputs of the Program

- Assist for resolution of all contractual issues including examining the contractor's claims for variations/ extensions or other claims and prepare recommendations with substantiated justifications.
