About the client :
Our client is the leading player of wind and solar power assets in operation and under development located in the renewable resource-rich southern, western and central regions of India. With already a very strong presence in the wind and solar space, the client is also extensively working in the energy-from-waste and biomass power assets domain revolutionising this space.
Job Description
Reporting under the DGM Operations, you- d be responsible for:
- Working with complex data sets relating to the Renewable and drawing actionable insights
- Ideation and innovation for the continuous improvement of internal processes and tools
- Identifying areas to increase efficiency and automation of processes
- set up and maintain automated data processes
- identify, evaluate and implement external services and tools to support data validation and cleansing
- produce and track key performance indicators
- Developing and supporting reporting processes
- Preparing reports for internal customers using business analytics reporting tools
- Creating data dashboards, graphs and visualizations
- Mining and analyzing large datasets, drawing valid inferences and presenting them successfully (visualizations)
The successful candidate:
- 5-10 years of working experience analytics experience
- Data mining skills (including data auditing, aggregation, validation and reconciliation), advanced modeling techniques (statistical, mathematical, predictive modelling), testing and creating and explaining results in clear and concise reports
- Broad understanding and experience with real-time analytics and business intelligent platforms such as Tableau Software
- Expertise at programming languages and statistical software packages such as Python, R, Java, Ruby, Clojure, Matlab, Pig or SQL
- basic knowledge of working with Hadoop and Map Reduce should be present
- Ability to communicate complex findings and ideas in plain language
