Manager/Analyst - Data Analytics/Quant - Bank (4-7 yrs)
Quant Analytics Analyst
- Collect and analyze complex branch operations data for control deficiencies
- Review reports ensuring they meet business and functional requirements
- Develop and ensure Quality Assurance procedures are implemented to validate report accuracy
- Research and devise data mapping from source systems for accurate data development
- Ensure all documentation are accurate, complete and adhere to the organizational standards
- Cultivate and maintain operational performance reporting
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with operational leaders and partners (both internal and external)
- Explore opportunities to automate manual processes and decrease operational overheads
- Review and suggest modification of established procedures, recommend and implement process improvements and manage multiple projects based as required for business
- Maintain production jobs and own data validation process across multiple reporting platforms`
Requirement
- Requires SAS & SQL 3+ years- experience
- Requires 3+ years of Data Analysis experience
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and UNIX
- Good to have VBA for Excel 2+ years- experience
- Experience with Microsoft SharePoint, JIRA, GIT & Control M / Autosys schedulers preferred
- Prefer familiarity with database structure supporting Financial Services/ Consumer Bank.
- Highly organized and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Detailed oriented with ability and drive to deliver high-quality work
- Excellent Oral and written communication skills
- Ability to translate data into meaningful business information
