Education - Graduate/Post Graduate along with PGD in Industrial

Safety(RLI)

Experience - Minimum 20 years

Age - 40+ Years

Position report to:  Plant Head

Position reported by :  7 Team members

Job Purpose :

To improve the workplace safety by monitoring and eliminating the sources of incidents for achieving Zero lost time accident

Key Expectations :

- Developing and executing health and safety plans in the workplace according to legal guidelines

- Preparing and enforcing policies to establish a culture of health and safety

- Evaluating practices, procedures and facilities to assess risk and adherence to the law

- Conduct training and presentations for health and safety matters and accident prevention

- Monitor compliance to policies and laws by inspecting employees and operations

- Inspect equipment and machinery to observe possible unsafe conditions

- Recommend solutions to issues, improvement opportunities or new prevention measures

- Report on health and safety awareness, issues and statistics

- Develop & Implement the EHS Policy & objectives

- Implement ISO 14001, ISO 45001, British Safety Council guidelines

- Responsible for heading TPM- SHE Pillar

- Will also be responsible for all CSR activities

Key Competencies :

- Should possess excellent business and strategic orientation

- Should have an excellent track record of people management skills and team leadership qualities.

- Proven experience as safety manager

- Deep understanding of legal health and safety guidelines

- Good knowledge of data analysis and risk assessment

- Excellent organizational and motivational skills

Industry Background :

- Leadership role in large Manufacturing/ preferably in the Automobile/ auto component/ engineering sector/Process Industry
