Manager - Advanced Analytics - GAC


We're looking for a motivated, analytically-minded candidate who wants to be part of a start-up style environment that combines the resources and future mobility offered by a large corporation. Ideally, you have a broad skillset and leadership capability, who can inspire people and build great teams.

Education:

- Masters in Engineering, Statistics, Applied Statistics, Economics, Econometrics, Operations Research or any other quantitative analysis

- MBA/ PhD from premier institutes preferred

Mandatory Requirements:

- About 10 years of experience with atleast 5 years in analytics roles, implementing projects end-to-end

- Prior experience of leading multiple teams and engaging multiple stakeholders

- CPG experience preferred

Experience of having led the teams that built complex statistical models using some of the following techniques:

- Multinomial logit

- Integrated forecasting using GLM / Mix Models

- Optimization using Simulated Annealing / Genetic Algorithms

- Different types of simulations and simulations software

- Cluster Analysis

- Proven skills in translating statistics into insights

- Excellent communication skills

- Proven leadership qualities and ability inspire action and deliver high quality results

Primary Responsibilities:

- Coordinate with business stake holders and GAC leadership to identify pipeline of high impact projects, assess complexity and commit outcomes to stakeholders.

- Work with the teams to provide direction, explain the business aspect of the problem and provide thought leadership on emerging statistical techniques, algorithms, etc

- Play the role of a people manager, taking care of team members- needs and motivations and target maximum retention

- Work with GAC leadership to determine budgets, resources, etc have the team work within those constraints

- Work with GAC leadership and global IT team to continuously evolve the analytics platform
