The Marketplace business is an internet-commerce based platform where sellers across various domains can list their products, pricing and positioning, while receiving support from the marketplace owners in terms of warehouse and logistics, paying a service fee to the marketplace platform in exchange for the listing and e-commerce services.

Job Description:

- Reliance Retail is looking for experience Account Managers to help us build and scale core account management capabilities for the Managed and Self-Serve advertising functions on an ecommerce marketplace. The person will get an opportunity to work with various leaders and stakeholders across marketing, sales, category and product to offer the right ad servicing to the advertisers.


- He/she will be responsible for managing key advertising accounts on different ad product offerings such as Search and Display. The person will provide education, training and optimization support to the advertisers on the self-serve advertising platform and will own campaign management services for the key managed advertisers.

- The ideal candidate will have experience in account / program management preferably in the digital advertising or e-commerce space, possess strong data interpretation skills and communication skills. He/she will have a keen sense of ownership, drive, and desire to win!

Core Responsibilities :

- Provide Account Management support to key Brands & Sellers using Search and Display Advertising

- Collaborate with the ad sales, category and marketing teams to seamlessly onboard, educate and manage sellers and brands on the managed and self-serve advertising channels.

- Provide support from media planning, campaign set up, optimisation, revenue delivery to final billing.

- Perform in-depth data analysis to develop actionable insights and recommendations for campaigns for the set of brand and sellers and drive the adoption of these recommendations.

- Collaborate with the internal product teams to understand the display and search advertising products in detail to provide right services and solutions to the advertisers.

Skill & Competencies :

- Passion for online advertising and a track record of delivering outstanding results

- Strong Analytical skills: Confidence in the analysis of number-based reports and experience in MS Office (esp. Excel).

- Ability to collaborate and coordinate with internal teams as per business requirements

- Strong communication and storytelling skills (written and verbal).

- An organized approach and a real team player who is willing to roll up sleeves.

- Take complete ownership of the advertiser accounts and services and be passionate about driving advertiser success goals

- High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously

Basic Qualifications :

- Graduate or MBA degree from a premier institute

- 4 to10 years of professional experience in Marketing, Advertising or Business, e.g. as Account or Campaign Manager.

- Experience in e-commerce, retail or advertising preferred

- Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations
