Manager - Accounts & Taxation

Role

Person is primarily responsible for handling statutory compliance and audit section of Finance & Accounts and continuously improvement of process and system.

Responsibilities

Accounts

1. Preparing MIS reports to top management on financial performance.

2. Preparing Balance sheet & Profit & Loss Accounts with complete schedule for audit

3. Independently handle internal audits and statutory audits.

4. Ensuring internal audit schedule/plans are executed on time without compromising on quality parameters

5. Maintaining the best accounting practice and financial control over all company transaction.

6. Handling accounts payable team, vendor payments, and monitoring period end expense provisioning.

Taxation

1. To be compliant with Indirect tax (majorly in Service Tax), Direct Taxation, FEMA and Labour Laws.

2. To be responsible for creation/revision of internal company policies in line with statutory updates.

3. Handling assessments of Income Tax, Service tax, Transfer Pricing or other departments

4. Keep assessment details ready for timely submission to department

5. Circulation of periodic update on tax status

6. Ensuring proper deduction of TDS and timely payment

7. Ensuring proper calculation of Service Tax payable and timely payment

8. Maintaining Cenvat Credit Register

9. Filing of Tax return on time.

Requirements

CA with 2-5 years of experience in financial reporting, accounts payables and taxation.

Following professional traits are necessary requirements:

1. Good communication and interpersonal skills

2. Should have excellent knowledge of Excel and Tally/ERP, presentation and report writing skills are important

3. Preferably from service industry only preferable Internet/ Media/ Entertainment / E-commerce.

4. 1-2 years experience in Big 4 Audit firms or MNCs
