Manager - Accounts Receivable/Billing & Collection - O2C BPO (10-16 yrs)

Manager [AR, Billing & Collection (O2C BPO)]

- Drive a functional consolidation effort for the organization to centralize all functions in the Order to Cash lifecycle.


- You will be responsible for design, development, strategy and management of the O2C function to support the organization in its growth strategy.


- You will work with the Finance Leadership in executing business strategy and support all re-engineering, transformation, turn around and outsourcing initiatives to create a best in class O2C support team for the organization.

Key responsibilities :

- You will be the primary owner of the end-to-end Order to Cash process with the overall goal of delivering O2C services while ensuring quality and cost effectiveness and managing team.

- You will play a critical role in building the capability and standards of the CCBS's Order to Cash function and will support its development and sustainability by ensuring service delivery excellence.

- Experience of balancing new transitions, phasing from strategic assessment till operations set up with zero surprise delivery.

- Interaction with onshore financial controllers/stakeholders via Calls and Emails for trasitions and issue resolution.

- Develop and publish weekly/ monthly/ quarterly key performance Indicators (KPIs) to stakeholders and executive management.

- Participate in governance meetings at country / region level; Closely work with the team and ensure right collaboration with the team members properly to meet the deliverables and motivate & help them to develop the process standards

- Identify process improvement opportunities and drive implementation (Lean and Six Sigma projects)

- Timely and effective communication with internal departments - billing, bill dispatch, cash application, ebilling, other finance teams for issue resolution

- Responsbile for FTE's utilization, monthly department updates, SWOT analysis, weekly dashboards.

- Transition and document 'As Is' process for offices & exceptions.

- Focus on implementing standard processes and procedures and continuously improve the financial and operational processes of the group.

- Establishing an adequate control environment and optimizing the efficiency of O2C process with focus to deliver improvement in working capital of the company.

- Responsible for the overall performance of the team, monitoring their performance, providing timely feedback & assisting them to improve on their identified training needs.

- Participate and Lead in cross functional process and system improvement initiatives and drive ERP, Tools and Work flow Implementation/ Automation.

Qualification And Experience:

i. 10+ years of experience with experience of working in global and cross-functional environments and managing team size.

ii. Strong RPA implementation experience in O2C and well versed with bot exceptions and bot governance framework.

iii. Experience in managing and strategizing for Order to Cash (O2C) functions including Ebilling, Billing, Collections, Cash Application and related finance functions.

iv. Strong leadership skills with experience of empowering people; developing individual skills to their maximum potential, training and employee development as well as continuous improvement.

v. Strong written, oral and presentation skills; effective communicator at all levels of the organization (including ability to speak in front of group audiences). Proficient in active communication and solid interpersonal skills; ability to influence others.

vi. ERP system experience.

i. Ability to manage team and provide guidance and direction to the direct reports on work priorities and stakeholder management

ii. Ability to make all members work as a team and contribute towards team goals, but equally be responsible for certain deliverables which need to be prepared independently and deliver results
