Accountant/Accounts Manager

Job responsibilities:

- Manage full spectrum of accounting function and activities

- Responsible for the day to day accounts and finance operations and ensure timely financial reporting.

- Responsible for Banking, Treasury and Forex matters.

- Responsible for tax and audit matters.

- Maintain strong internal controls, reporting standards and ensure compliance with accounting and reporting requirements.

Job Requirements:

1. Indian CA is a must

2. A good accounting degree (2nd upper-class honours).

3. At least 5 years of accounting experience

4. 2-3 years of commercial experience in agri commodities industry

5. Audit experience working in Big 4 audit firms.

6. Good leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.

7. Willing to travel on short term basis as and when required or short term overseas posting to countries e.g. African countries

8. Must have India working experiences

9. With past Africa experience is a bonus

10. Conversant in accounting eg IFRS and company law.

11. Well versed with accounting software ie. Navision, SAP.

12. Has an eye for detail and ability to work in a high-pressure environment.

13. Good leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.

14. Willing to travel on short term basis as and when required or short-term overseas posting to countries e.g. African countries
