Job Description - The job reports into the CFO and has a direct line reporting of 12 people. As the Manager: Accounting and Finance, you will be heading the accounts, audit and indirect taxation of the company. The role is based out of their plant location.

Client Details

Our client is a global player in the heavy machinery manufacturing industry. It has a plant and R&D Center in Daman. They are rapidly growing their business in India and to support their growth plans they are looking to hire a Accounting and Finance Manager based out of Daman.

Description

As the Manager: Accounting & Finance, you will report to the CFO. They key roles are responsibilities include:

a. Heading Accounts, Audit & Indirect Tax function

b. Quarterly closing of accounts with audit for reporting SEBI under Ind-AS

c. Preparation & reporting of Monthly MIS

d. Statutory compliance re TDS, GST, PF etc

e. To strengthen IFCs & SOPs and driving cost control across functions

f. Monthly & Quarterly closing of internal audit report

g. To handle Statutory & Cost Audit

h. Receivable & Payable management

i. Preparation & monitoring of monthly/annual budget

Profile

As the ideal candidate, you are a chartered accountant possessing 7-10 years of post qualification experience in the domain of accounts, audit and taxation. You are well versed with SAP, GST and Ind-AS environment and have an exposure to the business / operational side of business, preferably in plant controlling.
