Manager - Accounting Advisory Services - Big4

One of the Big 4 is hiring for Manager in Accounting Advisory Services 

- Consulting with clients on complex accounting issues

- Collaborating with partners, directors, senior managers and clients to influence strategy, balancing risk and client expectations

- Leading and delivering accounting advisory assignments in the required timeframe as agreed with the client.

- Being the primary point of contact with senior members of client teams.

- Managing Engagement teams and ensuring that they thoroughly understand our clients- unique needs and expectations

- Building relationships with colleagues across multiple service lines to provide seamless integrated service

- Provide technical as well as process assistance in relation to conversion from Indian GAAP to IFRS/US GAAP

- Acting as a subject matter expert on technical accounting matters and supporting audit teams with such matters that arise during the course of an audit. Scope will include supporting audit teams in implementation of new accounting standards, review of Ind AS, IFRS and US GAAP financial statements, preparing and reviewing work papers and providing support services (technical as well process related) to clients

- Assist clients with financial reporting / closing / consolidation type processes

- Assist clients with respect to financial reporting requirements in connection with listing of securities (restated financials)

- Provide accounting related training services to clients and staff

- Responsible for reviewing the work done (Deliverables) by the team members

- Assist in assurance engagements, whenever necessary

- Consistently deliver quality client services and take charge of the project area assigned to him/her

- Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge Demonstrate ability to assimilate to new knowledge

- Possess good business acumen. Remain current on new developments in advisory services capabilities and industry knowledge

- The job would require travel to client locations within India and abroad

Desired candidate profile

- Practical knowledge of financial reporting process and GAAP conversion assignments in Ind AS/IFRS/US GAAP etc.

- Possess strong domain knowledge in Ind AS and IFRS

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Strong written and verbal communication skills (presentation skills)

- Ability to work well in teams

- Advanced Working knowledge of MS Office applications

- Have the ability to work under pressure stringent deadlines and tough client conditions which may demand extended working hours

- Willingness to travel within India or abroad for continuous long periods of time

- Demonstrate integrity, values, principles, and work ethic and lead by example
