Fixed Term Consulting Contract with Big 4 - Vendor Management

Position : 

Consultant with sound understanding of sourcing lifecycle and expertise in vendor management

Role : 

The primary role of the consultant is to make direct contributions to client's team by assisting client through the sourcing lifecycle including outsourcing strategy, vendor portfolio optimization, vendor evaluation and selection, contracting and negotiations.

The responsibilities of current role may include:

- Work with internal and client teams to develop and implement work plan

- Analyse supplier contracts and identify opportunities to improve supplier contracts and rationalize costs for the client

 Support supplier relationship review through : 

- Monthly performance management

- Contract compliance management

- Cost and commercial management

- Business continuity and risk management

- Enablement of operational governance

- Work closely and collaboratively with teams to analyse client operations, gather data, brainstorm potential options, and make recommendation

- Conduct appropriate market research and analysis to provide insights to client team

- Communicate analysis, recommendations and status updates in both written and oral communication with internal and client team

Qualifications : 

- A strong and demonstrated interest in consulting specially in thinking through large and complex exercises

- Prior experience in client engagements and programs

- Excellent academic credentials for both undergraduate and graduate coursework

- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal

- Leadership qualities and the ability to mentor

- Willingness and ability to take initiative and learn independently

- This role is based out in Bangalore
