What is - Fixed Term Employment- ? How is it different from - Temporary Contract-

Fixed Term Employment (FTE) is an employment wherein the candidate is an employee of Deloitte for a fixed duration. For all practical purpose, you are an employee of Deloitte for the pre-defined duration and the candidate gets all the benefits of an employee including necessary skill trainings, access to all knowledge databases, experience certificate. The candidate is on the payroll of Deloitte during the duration of employment. At the end of fixed duration, basis the performance, Deloitte may hire the candidate on permanent employment.

As against this - Temporary Contract- is a contractual job wherein the candidate is not treated at par with the employees and is usually on the payroll of an outsourcing company with limited or no access to Deloitte learning resources, trainings, knowledgebase and professionals. At the end of the contractual period, the candidate does not get an opportunity to be employed by Deloitte as the candidate is already on payroll of outsourcing company with which Deloitte has a contract.

What kind of projects will I be working on ?

You will be working on projects that can leverage your experience and can help you develop more skills. Deloitte will provide the required training and experienced Directors/Partners of the firms will guide you as needed for you to deliver on the projects

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES - 

The primary role of the consultant is to make direct contributions to client's team by assisting client through the sourcing lifecycle including outsourcing strategy, vendor portfolio optimization, vendor evaluation and selection, contracting and negotiations.

The responsibilities of current role may include - 

- Work with internal and client teams to develop and implement work plan

- Analyse supplier contracts and identify opportunities to improve supplier contracts and rationalize costs for the client

- Support supplier relationship review through

Monthly performance management

Contract compliance management

Cost and commercial management

Business continuity and risk management

Enablement of operational governance

- Work closely and collaboratively with teams to analyse client operations, gather data, brainstorm potential options, and make recommendation

- Conduct appropriate market research and analysis to provide insights to client team

- Communicate analysis, recommendations and status updates in both written and oral communication with internal and client team

Qualifications

- A strong and demonstrated interest in consulting specially in thinking through large and complex exercises

- Prior experience in client engagements and programs

- Excellent academic credentials for both undergraduate and graduate coursework

- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal

- Leadership qualities and the ability to mentor
