Position Description : Supply & Distribution Planning

The position holder will be primarily responsible for all supply & distribution activities related to products for all brands and channels of the company. The person will be responsible to create and maintain right inventory levels in the system at all nodes to always ensure 100% availability of all products in all channels.

R&Rs:

1. Work in tandem with warehousing team and will be responsible for replenishing all the downstream nodes from mother warehouse basis demand for all products and channels

2. Work in tandem with NPD & EPD Procurement teams to ensure continuous supply levels for all products at all times

3. Work in tandem with finance to reconcile inventory levels and develop SLOB provisions wherever necessary

4. Coordinate cross-functional research activities to reconcile significant variances and refine the approach towards fulfillment & distribution of inventory

5. Regular reporting to Senior and executive management of the procurement & distribution plan and related KPIs

6. Interact with sales, marketing and NPD, EPD to understand the dynamic supplies and minimize its impact on business

7. Provide input to Demand Planning in developing forecast strategies on existing items, new products, and product phase-outs - volume planning for latest estimates basis constraints

8. Constantly engage with stakeholders to ensure alignment in lead times, inventory days, liquidation plans and inventory ageing.

9. Constantly engage with warehouse personnel to make sure that the Stock transfers are getting executed timely and stock is getting connected in the required warehouse on time

1. Availability - risks and opportunities of inventory

2. Inventory Days

3. Customer fill rate

4. Freshness - of the product for the end customer

5. Forecast accuracy

6. Refined systems and methods to continually improve distribution across warehouses

Skills and expertise required:

1. Minimum of a bachelor's degree in business analytics or supply chain

2. 5+ years of experience in supply chain

3. Advance knowledge of MS Excel/ Power BI

4. Solid understanding of production planning, distribution planning & inventory management

5. Very strong statistical skills

6. Startup experience is preferrable
