Role : Community Engagement Manager Department : Alternate accommodation Function : Domestic Hotel Supply The Community Engagement Manager is responsible for developing and executing integrated plans and leading our community (hosts - existing and prospective) efforts on a day-to-day basis. S/he would closely work with cross functional teams such as Business Development, Public relations, Marketing and Legal. Being an integral part of a larger business, the Community Engagement Manager liaises closely with hosts/partners to make sure that community plans fit with other local business priorities and outcomes. Role Responsibilities : - Strong track record of organizing and executing events, facilitating consensus building, developing programs and engagements - Be a go-to person for moderators and community users - Keep an active lookout for risks, potential gains and issues from a community/market stand-point - Use learnings from team members to identify opportunities and advocate for product improvements that support the team's strategy and the needs of the customer. - Co-ordinate with training team to drive engagement with host and share insights on making listing relevant; Tips and Tricks for improving daily operations. - Expertise in social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram). - Periodic feedback from host to be collected on existing process, BD connect, product improvements and closing loop with relevant stakeholders such as Product, Category, Tech - Serve as subject-matter expert and advisor for cross-functional stakeholders across the business including Legal, Product, PR and Business Development. - Gather data and insight from cross-functional collaborators to inform Community and Policy project prioritization. - Collaborate closely with Legal and Business Development team to communicate on policy research and drafting efforts, gather support for initiatives. - S/he should be comfortable pitching to bureaucrats, distinguished hosts, local communities etc. Competencies Required : - In- depth knowledge and understanding of online community platforms and Public Policies - Interpreting data, analyzing results using statistical analysis - Ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and verbal format - Ability to build and maintain relationships - Strong project management and organisational skills
