Majorel - Manager - Business Intelligence/Data Management (5-18 yrs)
Roles and Responsibilities :
The Data & BI Manager is responsible for the successful management of business intelligence information across Majorel by promoting data definition, data governance and data quality across Operations, Human Resources, Finance and Sales departments.
Desired Candidate Profile :
- Responsible for defining and maintaining the enterprise data dictionary across multiple internal business partners. Major to this role is to build a BI functional team to handle Global and Regional request for BI solutions.
- Oversees the current business intelligence functional team on a day-to-day and weekly basis, ensuring timely delivery of business intelligence solutions.
- Define, promote and ensure compliance to the Data Governance Model.
- Define, manage and steer Data Quality processes
- Define and manage a security model for data consumption and analysis
- Manage, mentor, motivate and build a team of BI analyst, and drive excellence in data definition and data management and data quality processes.
Professional Background :
- Engineer degree or Master Degree in Computer Science with at least 5 years of experience in Managing BI teams (functional and/or technical)
- Leadership skills : Responsible for managing and leading a medium sized team (5+)
- Expertise in planning and executing enterprise level data initiatives
- Organizational, influencing and communication skills
- High level of critical thinking and analytical skills
- Change management skills
- Experience building high performance, collaborative functional BI teams
- IT Architecture : Data warehousing and Analytical models
- Agile Project Management
- Candidate shall be working Globally, Should also know BI Solutions & Functional systems
