Organisation background, We are a two year old company founded by Dr. P. Sadananda Maiya who was also the founder and Managing Director of MTR Foods Limited. He sold MTR to Orkla, a Norwegian conglomerate in 2007. Since then, he has spent the past few years in researching new techniques in Food processing and Cooking. The result is Maiyas Beverages and Foods Pvt Ltd.

We manufacture products across 7 categories: Instant MIxes, Masalas & Spices, Ready to Eat (Retort Pouches), Frozen Foods, Savoury Snacks, Beverages and Frozen Foods. Our products are available in South India (Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Kerala), North India ( Delhi, UP, Punjab, Haryana and Jammu & Kashmir) and East India ( West Bengal and the 7 North Eastern States). We have just begun operations in Mumbai as well. Internationally, we export to Japan, USA, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Oman and Germany. Our Current turnover is US $ 12 million. And we have strong Market share position in South India; No. 2 behind Haldirams and MTR respectively in Snacks, Instant Mixes, Masalas and RTE.
