- Conducting in-house searches for availability of trademarks and advising business on adoption of marks

- Co-ordinating with business - accounts team for filing Trademark / Copyright Applications in India and abroad

- Attending to Filing of TM applications, TM oppositions, Attending hearings before TM registry, Attending to renewals etc. in India & co-ordinating with external attorneys for the same

- Drafting / vetting Legal Notices for trademark/domain name infringement

- Drafting / Vetting plaints/affidavits for trademark infringement related suits; Trademark Opposition proceedings

- Handling Domain Name related disputes (WIPO complaint etc.)

- Advising business on Brand adoption and trademark registration in India and foreign countries

- Responding to business queries relating to various issues relating to Trademarks, Domain Names, Copyrights and other IPRs

- Drafting / vetting IPR related clauses in various Distributor/ Dealer/Vendor, Franchisee, Technical Collaboration Agreements

- Drafting / vetting Website terms & conditions/privacy policy; Advising business on queries relating to Information Technology Act

- Reviewing / vetting / drafting IPR agreements (Technology License/ Trademark or Domain Names License / Assignment Deeds/Software License Agreement/Plant Varieties)

- Maintenance of databases of Trademark searches, applications, registration, litigation, TLAs

- Processing of all attorneys' invoices for all IPR related matters and ensure timely payment

Education Qualifications - LLB + LLM or Diploma or certification program in IPR (preferable)

Experience : 5 - 10 years (Law firm + Corporate Experience)

- Thorough Knowledge of IPR laws and procedures involved in registration /renewal/ opposition etc. ; Substantial / working knowledge of Contracts laws / corporate laws; and Good Drafting & communication skills

- Should be a Team Player; and having passion and keen interest in IPR ; Proactive and prompt delivery of work; Ability to deliver quality in stringent timelines;
