Position Details Position DGM- SQE DAC Business Unit/Division : Automotive Reports To : Head SQE Place of Posting : Nashik Responsibilities &amp; Key Deliverables : - Ensure that the lessons learned from product families are shared with the platform team (COE, CDMM etc) for new product development as input for prevention of repeated known issues - Provide support and involvement in new product development improvements through early involvement into product development Process and completion of joint PPAP with CDMM - Drive collaboration with suppliers to improve manufacturing processes and deploy processes and tools. - Monitor supplier performance measurement, supplier audits and Supplier Corrective Action Request (SCAR), etc - Develop and ensure implmentation of process norms for management of suppliers by : - Verification of products and services from the suppliers. - Evaluation of performance of suppliers and monitor the improvement plans - Enhance technical capabilities of vendor through systems and knowledge upgradations - Review, Analyze and implement results of quality audits at all locations - Perform the role of a people manager for the team - Manage and support recruitment, set KRA's for direct reports, monitor overall team's KRA's, conduct performance appraisal, ensure clarity and delineation of individual roles, appropriate delegation of responsibility - Facilitate the development of subordinates through constant on and off the job learning, job rotation, etc - To guide, motivate and develop the sub-ordinates Job Requirements : Experience (years) : - Diploma in Mech engg 15 - 20 years - BE/B tech (Mech) 12 - 15 years Industry Preferred : Automotive Qualification : - Diploma in Mech engg - BE/B tech (Mech) Behavioural Competencies : - Result orientation with execution excellence - Leveraging Human capital - Customer Focus - Strategic business orientation - Negotiation Skills - Collaborative Team Work Functional / Skills critical for the job : Competencies : - Manufacturing process knowledge of casting/forging, machining,break/clutch system functioning, various type of weldings, fixture toolings, process development, process audits, quality/problem solving tools, APQP/PPAP+U46 - Ability to take strong positions and not bow to pressure, high level of analytical ability
