Yabx is looking for a big data solution architect with hands on experience in architecting Big Data applications using Hadoop technologies such as Spark, MapReduce, HDFS, Hive, Impala, Mahout. Job responsibilities : - Provide technical thought leadership while collaborating with peers, and communicate with all stakeholders. - Design and implementation of solution using Hortonworks/Cloudera technology stack - Experience in building large scale backend and middle-tier systems in Java - Spring boot/Scala/Python - Experience in Big Data Analytic frameworks and query tools such as Spark, Storm, Hive, Impala - Experience working with NoSQL databases and search engines such as MongoDB, Cassandra, Neo4J and Elasticsearch - Experience in designing and implementing secure and RESTful web service APIs - Professional understanding of JavaScript, HTML &amp; CSS, jQuery, Angular or similar JS libraries - Data Integration experience in NiFi, Sqoop and Kafka, - Experience with Druid, Superset and related data platforms - Knowledge in streaming data tools such as Kafka, AWS Kinesis - Deployment experience in on premise and AWS - Experience in building and maintaining a large-scale, high-availability web application with a growing user base - Proven track record of architecting distributed solutions dealing with the real high volume of data(petabytes) - Experience working with Business Intelligence teams and Data Scientists - Good understanding of Big data design patterns, data security and privacy concerns - Able to Benchmark systems, analyse system bottlenecks and propose solutions to eliminate them - Able to perform detailed analysis of business problems and technical environments and use this in designing the solution - Able to work in a fast-paced/startup agile development environment. Qualification : - 8 to 12 years of working experience (Preferably worked in an early stage start-ups) - 3+ years of experience in designing big data solutions architecture, monitors and governs the implementation. - 2+ years of hands-on experience in developing micro services in a docker, orchestration, CI/CD pipelines - Strong knowledge of telecommunications and networking domain.
