Job Responsibilities : - Negotiate the pricing. - Review and approve Purchase Orders / Contracts. - Supplier selection & approval. - Monitoring Suppliers overall performance. - Responsible for Department cost reduction in line with the targets set by Management. - Assumes leadership role in managing key strategic relationships with purchasing groups from various Cosma & Magna entities & our Customer's divisions Purchasing Groups. - Assumes leadership role in working with key internal company personnel in order to establish sound and Effective purchasing strategies. - Responsible for establishing and maintaining clear and effective purchasing policies and procedures. - Responsible for designing policies of general purchasing. - Responsible for improved pricing, product quality, and delivery. - Responsible for Negotiating and supervising supplier contracts and formulating policies with suppliers. - Attend daily meetings with cross-functional teams. - Ensure Timely and effective communication to concerns. - Promote and assist in team building, build positive Team Member relations and demonstrate positive leadership skills. - Organize, maintain and promote a safe work environment. - Adhere to customer requirement, Business Operating System and company policies. - Coordination with cross-functional teams. - Perform other duties as assigned. - Acts as lead negotiator in plant purchasing plans. - Overall responsibility of Purchase department performance. - Cost analysis. - Focus on cost reduction. - Defining & monitoring Department KPIs in accordance with Organization Targets. AUTHORITIES: - Supplier Selection. - Approving Purchase Order Requisitions. - Approving Purchase Orders. Skills : - Should have experience in Automobile Industry - Previous Purchase /Vendor development experience, be trustworthy and dependable. Must have costing knowledge of Sheet metal & machining components. Knowledge of tax structure & import duties. Need good negotiation skills. Must have good communication skills.
