Position Title : Lead - Compliance


Level/Grade/Designation General Manager


Company - Magma HDI General Insurance


Department - Insurance


Division - Legal & Compliance


Compliance:


- Drafting, vetting and negotiating agreements, deeds i.e. Service Level Agreements, Outsourcing Agreements, MoUs, Leave and Licence Agreements etc.


- Drafting, Vetting of General Insurance Products


- Handling high value litigation and co-ordination with law firms/advocates


- Giving legal advice to the company on various legal and regulatory issues


- Indian Stamp Act implementation and Compliance


- Labour Law Compliance at HO/Branches including handling its issues


- Telecom Act Compliance


- Implementing requirements of IT Act, Data Privacy norms, FEMA, etc and ensuring its compliance on an ongoing basis


- Automation of contract management process


- Advising on POSH


- Implementation of requirements relating to Trade Mark/ Copyrights and ensuring its Compliance on an ongoing basis


- Advising on Corporate Laws (on need basis)


- Taking up responsibility as and when Compliances cases comes


Competencies :


- Excellent knowledge of IRDA Regulations, Acts, Process & Procedures especially Insurance Law, Civiland Criminal law, AML, etc.


- Collaboration - Stakeholder Management


Qualification & Experience :


- Graduate - LLB (additional qualification of CS shall be given preference). Certifications / Fellow ship in


- Insurance would be an added advantage


- Overall experience of 10-12 years At least 3 years experience in Insurance sector (including at least 4

years in General Insurance)


Skills :


- Analytical Skills,


- E-mail Drafting


- Excellent knowledge of MS-Office applications


- Planning and Organising skills
