MagicBricks - Senior Communication Manager/PR Head (10-15 yrs)
Job Description:
Strategic
- Project the brand and the senior leadership as a Thought Leader in the category
- Lead the delivery of a long-term communications strategy focused on projecting Magicbricks as a one-stop shop for all real estate needs
- Create a communication strategy for Magicbricks' wide range of monetization products
- Develop an outreach program for all stakeholders including regulators and bank partners
- Develop messaging on complex, nuanced issues that span Magicbricks, consumer internet and the real estate sector
Operational
- Create an executive communication program for the CEO
- Create Thought Leadership pieces for the CEO and the senior leadership at large
- Build and maintain strong relationships with relevant media
- Plan content syndication plan with external media to build brand saliency
- Drive PR narratives through social media platforms
- Mine data consumer data and build consumer narratives through infographics and videos
- Manage external public relations agency
- Proactively brief press, opinion leaders and stakeholders on Magicbricks' wide array of services
- Simplify complex policy concepts into plain language for press and the general public
- Ensure consistency of company-wide communication, share worldwide best practices, and support impactful media strategies
Preferred qualifications:
- Around 10+ years of experience in managing Corporate Communications for a reputed brand
- Experience in executive communications directly supporting leadership of a company or comparable entity preferably in consumer internet
- Experience working with opinion formers and members of the media to advance strategic objectives
- Ability to influence and build effective relationships with leaders
- Ability to work as part of a team and lead efforts across disciplines
- Ability to respond to time sensitive requests
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
