Purpose of the role:
- The candidate will be primarily responsible for carrying out research and analysis on the Indian real estate market to support business strategy.
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct primary and secondary market research on real estate markets to track new trends and insights. The granularity of research ranges from a metropolitan region to a micro-market.
- Write real estate industry research reports. Scope of industry research encompasses sub-segments like residential, office, retail, and warehousing across the major Indian cities.
- Provide a research opinion on the macro-economic environment and regulatory policies relating to the real estate industry.
- Data collection, maintenance, and monitoring key property market indicators.
- Contribute to various research publications and activities.
- Carry out and publish research on topical property market matters.
Professional experience and personal skills
Qualifications/education:
- Postgraduate in architecture/commerce/ economics/finance/urban planning
Work Experience:
- 2 -5 years professional experience desired; can be in consulting, real estate research, economic development, urban planning, or other related fields.
Aptitude/Skills:
- Strong report writing skills
- Analytical mindset and comprehension ability
- Interest in the property market
IT Proficiency: MS Excel, MS Powerpoint, MS Word
