The Role - 1) Develop and grow outreach of Magic Bus brand to the media communities by creating an effective brand recall and Public Relation strategy. 2) Ensuring key stakeholders and Partners are strategically positioned in media 3) Ensure brand guidelines are followed and promote the brand through proper coverage of Magic Bus initiative and Impact in various media channels Responsibilities: - Develop and implement effective communication strategies that build thought leadership of key stakeholders in the organization - Creation and implementation of marketing partnerships and support innovative Public Relations strategies - Build relationships with key journalists and publications to ensure that Magic Bus is widely covered in relevant journals and projected as though leaders in the field of child's right and sport for development and thus managing overall Magic Bus PR strategy. - Collaborating with Funder's Public Relation programs and insuring proper coverage of Magic Bus brand - Represent the PR & Digital Media team in multi-disciplinary marketing squads, developing PR strategies - Builds and maintains solid partnerships with assigned internal clients to better develop, coordinate, direct, and facilitate strategic communications designed to meet objectives. - Develops an understanding of short- and long-term Public Relation strategy. - Adjusts and communicates plan changes as necessary to ensure costs for materials, media, and labor are in line with the marketability potential for programmes. - Ensure all relationships with press are appropriately managed and manage and front end relationships with PR agency, digital agency and web maintenance agency - Organize round table discussions on social media with Funding Partners/ HNI's/ Celebrities - Coordinating for entry submission for various awards - Amplifying press coverage to internal employees - Drafting articles to be published on different platform - Stays informed of developments in the field of marketing and communications within the sector to foster ideas and innovation. Requirements: - More than 8 years of work experience in developing and executing PR strategies across multiple media platforms - Good organizational, planning, and coordination skills - Significant experience working in a busy, high-pressure Press Office, Marketing/Public Relations agency or similar environment. - Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and make decisions on what to prioritise when working under pressure on a number of projects. - Excellent writing skills - including writing compelling press releases, features and comment pieces. - Strong journalistic skills of identifying and shaping key media lines
