About Magic Bus India Foundation:
Founded in 1999, Magic Bus works with children and young people living in poverty, in India, taking them from a childhood full of challenges to a life with meaningful livelihoods. We equip children and young people in the age group of 12 to 18, with the skills and knowledge they need to grow up and move out of poverty. Children on the Magic Bus programme successfully fend off destabilizers such as child marriage and child labour to complete school and become first-generation salary earners having secure careers in the organized sector. Key Responsibility Areas
- Apply instructional design methodology to design and develop materials for CBT, WBT, e-learning, instructor-led and blended-learning courses for effective Youth learning
- Evaluate, modify and improve all designed and developed content at regular intervals in coordination with Training team
Knowledge:
- Various learning & training models, methodologies, tools and techniques
- CBT, WBT, e-learning, ILT and blended learning models
- Formative and summative assessment models & tools
- Understanding of the skill ecosystem in India
- Understanding the challenges faced by youth from low socio-economic background in India
Skills :
- Ability to design, develop and review training programmes
- Good communication skills, verbal & written (including preparation of training materials)
Attributes :
- Ability to plan and prioritise work and manage busy workload under pressure, while maintaining positive attitude
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Able to work comfortably in a changing organisation under current situation
- Willing to travel to all parts of India
Academic & Professional Requirements:
- Minimum 4 to 5 years of experience in content design & development for the age group 18 years and above
- ID certification
- Experience in developing e-learning content
