- Design, develop and oversee all aspects of the performance measurement for the projects, including day-to-day tracking, reporting on activities, and data quality assurance - Draft and revise the project MEL plan and key performance indicators, including detailed indicator definitions and activity tracking tables - Develop data collection tools and procedures, oversee the project database and reporting to all Donors - Collaborate with regional MEL Coordinators, other staff and project partners on data collection, analysis, and ensure data is collected in a timely manner - Plan and participate in project monitoring activities through site visits, review of project reports, and analysis of performance monitoring and other data - Lead data quality controls and verification procedures - Foster a results-oriented and learning culture throughout the projects to ensure that M&E data and learning are used by the project teams to improve performance & impact - Contribute to the design of external project evaluation strategies - Manage the M&amp;E budget efficiently - Write &amp; release periodic MEL reports for review &amp; sharing, and support the reporting of project performance to the donors - Develop and facilitate the development of concept notes/ papers for internal and external audiences - Work with the Communications Officer to ensure data and learnings are prepared for dissemination - The MEL Head will work in close cooperation with Director-Impact, Direct-Livelihoods, Chief of Programmes, Executive Director-CSR, Director-Communications, and other relevant stakeholders - Other duties as assigned
