Magento Practice Head - eCommerce

Role Description:

We are looking SMART Techies who has real time development experience in Magento practice to join the award winning Ecommerce team. Seeking highly talented, motivated and driven individuals with a genuine passion for web technologies. You will be responsible for developing high quality web applications like online communities, eCommerce solutions using Magento.

Key Responsibilities:

- Development of new Magento plugins

- Advanced performance optimization for high traffic environment.

- Build API's that will integrate with all majors ERP, CRM and other systems.

- Exposure to large projects for enterprise clients.

- Involve in next generation technology solutions like Cassandra, MongoDB, NodeJS, NGiNX, Redis, Yii, Lithium and more.

- Become a mentor and also be a learner amongst a high caliber team.

- Liaise and interface with clients & stakeholders

- Document technical and functional specifications

- Provide technical consultancy services to stakeholders & clients

- Liaise with IT and Systems departments to put best practice, UAT and platform appraisal processes into place.

- Ensure that we meet commercial 'go-live' deadlines

- Mentor to junior developers

- Enterprise level experience of OOP with PHP, MySQL, and SVN, on various platforms.

- Standards compliant HTML, HTML 5, CSS, JavaScript (jQuery) and XML.

- Experience in building themes, plugins etc. for various Open source technologies

- Confident building user interfaces from PSD files and wireframes for functional specification.

- You will be expected to generate technical solutions to creative challenges on a daily basis.

- Proactive and willing to take the initiative to meet deadlines in a very fast paced, commercially driven working environment with constantly shifting priorities.

- Good verbal and written communication skills.
