Head Finance Management

Position Overview:

- The Head of Finance Management is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the logistics company, providing strategic direction to ensure financial stability and growth.

- This role requires a strong leader who can manage the company's financial planning, analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and risk management.

- The ideal candidate will work closely with the executive team to develop financial strategies that align with the company's objectives while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and best practices in the logistics industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Financial Planning:

- Lead the development and implementation of the company's financial strategy, ensuring alignment with overall business goals and objectives.

Financial Reporting & Analysis:

- Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and forecasts.

- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement in the business operations.

Budgeting & Forecasting:

- Lead the budgeting process, including the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans.

- Ensure effective management of capital and operational budgets.

Cost Management:

- Analyze cost structures within the logistics and supply chain operations and recommend cost-saving initiatives.

- Identify areas to improve operational efficiency and optimize profit margins.

Cash Flow & Working Capital Management:

- Ensure effective management of cash flow, including receivables, payables, and inventory management.

- Maintain optimal liquidity and working capital for smooth operations.

Risk Management:

- Oversee financial risk management, including developing strategies to mitigate financial and operational risks.

- Ensure the company's financial activities comply with regulations and industry standards.

Team Leadership & Development:

- Lead, manage, and mentor the finance team.

- Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the department.

- Oversee training and development initiatives to enhance the team's capabilities.

Tax Compliance & Financial Controls:

- Ensure timely and accurate tax filings and adherence to all applicable tax laws.

- Strengthen and maintain internal financial controls to safeguard assets and prevent fraud.

Stakeholder Management:

- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, auditors, banks, and investors, to support strategic initiatives, manage financing needs, and ensure financial transparency.

ERP Systems Management:

- Oversee the effective utilization and development of financial management systems (e.g., ERP systems) to improve financial reporting, planning, and analytics capabilities.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field & CA

Experience:

- Minimum 10 years of experience in finance management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.

- Proven experience in the logistics, transportation, or supply chain industry is a significant advantage.
