GBU FNA supplies global Finance and Accounting business for Damco, APM Terminal, Tanker, Maersk Supply Service, Drilling under A.P. Moller Maersk group. Business scope covers Account Payable, Account Receivable, General Ledger, Treasury, HFM(Hyperion Financial Management) reporting etc

Key responsibilities :

- Preparation of monthly HFM reporting by entity along with co-ordination of monthly analysis to support HFM reporting to Head Office.

- Ensure all Revenue and Production correctly reflected in DBU accounts, in accordance with accounting standards and reporting requirements.

- Preparation of monthly variance analysis schedules.

- Preparation of annual/quarterly DTI statistical returns.

- Timely preparation of UK Statutory accounts in compliance with UK GAAP and to a high standard.

- Liaise with external auditors throughout each year to ensure effective audit process.

- Ensures all implemented processes and procedures are documented and kept up to date (SOPs, guidelines) Aims at always closing open items/ issues in a timely and qualitative manner.

- Contributes to creating a constructive working environment for the GSC

- Closing and Reporting of the financials (including HFM and Local Reporting requirements)

- Preparation of Consolidated Forecast inputs

- Adhoc analysis as and when required.

- Participating in calls on BS reconciliations & other occasions

- Adhering to timelines and reporting the correct financial position including the analysis of variances to the Corporate Accountant team

- Monthly, quarterly and annual reporting schedules

- Various forms of management reporting (Corporate Cost, Regional reports, Cost Centre reports)

- Balance sheet adjustment journal entries including prepaid & accruals

- Balance sheet review & reconciliation

- Prepare/ maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)for all processes while ensuring the processes have proper governance and controls in place

- Ensure compliance with all Internal Controls and Processes for areas of responsibility

- Completion of Balance sheet Recs for areas of responsibility

- Ensure all Balance sheet Recs are completed in line with Maersk standard and signed off appropriately - -

- Responsible for signing off and documenting designated controls in GRC in a timely manner

We are looking for :

- Qualified CA /MBA/ICWA

- Minimum 3+ years in accounting to reporting (ATR) function & month end activities. Ideally working for an EU or US multinational organisation

- IFRS / UKGAAP knowledge is preferable

- Prior experience of working on SAP system would be an added advantage.

- Organized and planning oriented

- Both analytical and numerate

- Prior experience in BPO is preferable

- Flexible to work in any shift, i.e. morning, afternoon or night

- Good communication skills - should be able to independently communicate with stakeholders via emails, telephone, etc

- Good personal attributes - Matured, confident & a team player
