Sr. Process Analyst HSE  Key Responsibilities:  - Undertake various types of statistical analyses under the scope of Data Mining in order to discover patterns/information in selected data sets within the Maersk Drilling Business Intelligence Data Warehouse (MDBIDW) and others. The goal is to transform such patterns/information into understandable results for further use (e.g. future goals of predictive analysis) within Maersk Drilling.  - Extract data from various data sources in order to identify both rig specific and global process safety patterns/information; General Maersk Drilling challenges that needs to be addressed; upstream data input issues and come up with subsequent suggestions on any required changes in data registration/collection in order to broaden the patterns/information and in order to improve data quality.  - Undertake review of data in order to identify any gaps in data registration/collection (i.e. data that we are not gathering today) and proactively suggest new indicators to close the gaps.  - Undertake statistical analysis and hypothesis testing in order to identify any data trends (e.g. by use of methods for inference and descriptive statistics) that could indicate potential issues and opportunities for improvement.  - Undertake review of cross-sectional data (e.g. HR, Maintenance, Operations, HSSE and others) in order to analyse any patterns/information which from a process safety perspective could indicate potential issues and opportunities across business streams in Maersk Drilling.  - Upon request and proactively provide expert advice on observed patterns/information and prepare presentations for stakeholders with little or no data knowledge.  - Assist with the development of new leading indicators on the basis of data mining in order to identify new ways for Maersk Drilling to become more proactive in identifying warning signals in available data sets and to implement specific action plans to address such signals. Undertake manual data gathering from various data sources in order to create overlays; identify common data threads; create new manually updated metrics in advance of automation in liaison with HSSE BI Focal Point and keep such a solution up to date.  - Provide expert advice on ways to improve the current HSSE Business Intelligence and HSSE data cube setup. By the use of programming/coding within e.g. Excel be able to develop tools/solutions and assist with promotion of the data cube and assist with problem solving.  - Assist with and proactively testing new data developments and new functional developments for the HSSE Business Intelligence and suggest ways to improve the current HSSE Dashboard Graphical User Interface. Such developments will most likely be undertaken in new advanced Microsoft BI tools such as PowerBI, PowerView or the like.  - Setup novel data solutions based on advanced Microsoft BI tools in order to undertake pre-testing and develop draft solutions prior to project development.  - Assist with the development of visual data/indicator grouping in a way that can be used to improve the graphical layout of the HSSE Dashboard.  - Assist with undertaking stakeholder needs assessment analyses.  - During HSSE BI development projects ensure all KPI Specifications, Test logs (i.e. success and error logs) and other critical project documentation is maintained during the project management process and kept updated during the lifespan of the project sprints/phases and closed-out prior to entry to next sprint/phase and at project closure.  - Capture any lessons learned during project execution and post roll-out of new development in order to take such learnings into a post-project follow up as part of an IT Change Registry.  - Assist with setting up metrics and undertake regular statistical analyses on the utilisation of the HSSE Dashboard in order to identify focus areas to be further promoted or be subjected for change and manage such changes as part of an IT Change Registry.  - Ensure critical project documentation (e.g. test and error logs) maintained in ProArc.  - Ensure data analyses are maintained in ProArc.  - Assist with regular Change Directory (BICC) items close-out.  - Ensure records on maintenance of any non-conforming data are documented in the problem solving process as on par with MD BICC.  - Submit timely and accurate deliverables through own and team's efforts.  - Manage issues, exhaust all possible fix and escalate to appropriate desks for resolutions of issues.  - Ensure that report and non-system related data issues are flagged to stakeholders  - Ensure smooth and complete handovers of report and processes to new person-in-charge or backup which includes but not limited to SOPs, User Documentations  Stakeholder Management :   - Establish and maintain good relationships with stakeholders through constant communication and business partnering  - Manage stakeholder issues and expectations and recommend possible solutions  - Encourage stakeholder participation in the Customer Satisfaction Survey, among other survey initiatives  - Able to facilitate planned and impromptu discussions, GEMBA, and VF presentations among others for both internal and external audience  Process excellence :   - Proactively look for efficiencies in new and existing reports and processes including but not limited to application of macros, database applications, and statistical software resulting to FTE savings or process simplification  - Initiate, drive and support PEX projects and improvement initiatives  - Ensure proper documentation of all PEX initiatives  Financial Business Partnering (FBP) :  - Initiate and implement yield projects that innovate financial-based decision making  - Support Financial Business Partners in their role by providing assistance or training, where relevant  - Responsible for contributing to platforms that support Financial Business Partners  - Provide reliable and eye-opening insight that support objectives of Financial Business Partners  Training and Development :   - Proactively learn the business through research, stakeholder engagement, team discussions, among others  - Proactively learn how to use new and existing systems and tools  - Participate in available and relevant business, systems, HR training's, as well as other avenues of learning  - Proactively share best practices and knowledge with the team through knowledge sharing sessions, peerto-peer coaching and hyper care  Skills we are looking for :  Education : Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Computer Science, Information Science, Statistics, Mathematics or related discipline. Master's degree is a plus.  Relevant experience : Data Analyst/Architect working experience required. Similar experience in HSSE function for Oil/Gas industry is a plus.  Technical Knowledge :  - Advanced knowledge of Microsoft office programs (Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc.)  - Good command of spoken or written English  - Proficiency in safety management systems.  - Structured approach and analytical skills  - Statistical analysis and hypothesis testing in order to identify any data trends (e.g. by use of methods for inference and descriptive statistics)  - Able to identify relationships in data to assist in providing insights  - Experience in using Minitab, Access, SQL preferred but not required  - Knowledge about Microsoft BI tools such as PowerPivot, PowerBI and PowerView.  - Basic Project Management Skills is an advantage, but not a requirement.  Behavioral Skills:  - Good interpersonal skills  - A natural self-starter  - Strong business foresight to identify customer needs and come up with studies or projects tailor-fit to address those needs  - Able to provide insight beyond what is originally required by the stakeholder  - Provide insights and recommendations on game-changing initiatives or projects  - Able to identify key change factors  - Able to see, establish, and suggest strategic directions for own tasks or for the team  - Result oriented
