Reporting to the Sales Director for IBC cluster, the Regional Sales Manager, South India will be responsible for driving and delivering business in the states of Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Telangana with 8 ports and 3 inland offices.   We Offer :  A visible and important leadership position responsible for delivering growth, performance and success across South India.   - Be a part of the IBC sales leadership team and work closely with the Cluster leadership team. Work in a challenging and dynamic market landscape that is seeing a lot of exciting changes with scope for learning and equipping self with management competencies for further growth in the company.   - A role that would require executive selling and stakeholder management at the highest level with customers and other important stakeholders in the shipping community in south India.   Key Responsibilities:   - Develop and mentor sales talent in the region and provide strong leadership and coaching to the Sales team to achieve the budgeted numbers   - Formulate and drive a clear and effective sales strategy and direction in line with the Cluster's business plan.  - Develop local differentiators and value propositions. Formulate a qualified business plan to support the target delivery   - Lead large account teams and secure business with Indian or foreign multinationals - Drive the hinterland strategy for market penetration   - Create a motivating environment to retain and attract talents.   - Actively engage with cluster commercial management in budgetary process and forecasting exercise.  - Drive performance management in the commercial organization.   - Drive sales Performance matrices updates and ensure quality and hygiene for sales management, tracking, analysis and planning.   Who we are looking for :  - Master degree preferred.   - Minimum 5 years of sales and leadership experience   - Sales & Leadership capabilities  - Person who has strong business, market & customer understanding.  - Person with experience in general management - and sales management specifically   - An individual who is decisive, has a sense of urgency and result orientation   - thereby delivering objectives and increasing sales & yield performance.   - A leader that inspires, motivates, coaches, communicates & collaborates  - thereby driving the necessary changes in process, organization and customer satisfaction.   - Known & recognized for driving Maersk values and cultural amplifiers
