Maersk Line - Manager - Demurrage & Detention Governance (7-14 yrs)

Key Responsibilities

- Performance management: - Build and Communicate Functional & Transformation KPIs, Coach to run a Winning team and retain talent

- Monitor daily, weekly & Monthly performance metrics.

- Drive compliance to GIA recommendations within export and import DnD process execution to improve revenue.

- Close collaboration with the DnD product owners to ensure successful delivery of new initiatives and IT changes for better customer experience.

- Identify and drive opportunities for revenue enhancement through area/country commercial teams.

- Ensure timely invoicing of DnD to improve possibilities of collections through collaboration with FIN, OPS and product owners.

- Drive reduction of technical waivers through collaboration with upstream functions and contract filing team

- Drive improvements to DnD Invoice Quality by identifying and eliminating root causes for credit memos

- Accountable for timely and accurate approval of technical waivers on DnD as per Global Authority Matrix.

- Supporting the product organisation through timely data and analysis for implementing changes in the global process and also providing assistance on IT changes through allocation of resources for testing and implementation.

- Accountable to drive the various changes proposed through Lighthouse project with cross functional collaboration (with FIN, OPS, CS)

- Responsible for measuring and maintaining data on DnD compliance across the globe including the accuracy of filing, profitability of product etc.

- Challenges and supports direct reports in developing and implementing Customer service Strategy and adhering to global standards.


- Monitors performance against established KPIs and budgets, takes corrective action when necessary and exceed where possible.

- Continuously driver to reduce waste in the process, by analysing (speaking with) data and recommending improvements to relevant parties.

- Bachelor's Degree.

- Experience in Service Industry is desired.
