Purpose/Summary:
- This position will work with the BCM Lead in implementation, maintenance and governance of BCMS
framework.
- The person will oversee the governance of the framework including monitoring and auditing
activities. Also the person will need to perform Site and Process Risk Assessment as part of BCP Audits.
- The person will need to document the reports and minutes of high level meetings. Also this person will play role in IT Disaster Recovery planning.
Key Responsibilities: Include how the colleague is going to be measured?
- Manage the team members / supervisors and coordinate overall BCMS implementation and sustenance
activities.
- Audit the GSC BCMS plans and assess the contingency readiness in the GSC process level and site level. Coordinate with Site and Process BCP Managers and take the BCP readiness / preparedness status at each site and process.
- Coordinate with LMS team in the BCMS awareness training programs. Coordinate with various stakeholders to rollout the BCMS awareness program. Conduct training programs.
- Review and update BCMS documentation as per business requirements.
- Coordinate BCP tests and BCP audits on processes and site infrastructure to assess the compliance
Ensure contingency plans and test schedules are established for identified critical activities of GSC activities
which include :
- Recovery Strategy documentation
- Contingency and related documents (post contingency reports, contacts, etc.)
- Measurements of contingency plan effectiveness
- IT related and local administrative requirements
- Lead and coordinate with Site and Process BCP Managers on contingency plans and testing
- Monitor the alerts /news and ensure communications are in place for advising all stakeholder of a critical situation that may have potential impact on the GSC operations
- Conduct regular meetings with various stakeholders and discuss the BCMS, provide updates to top management, status of risks and actions. Communicate and record high level MOMs and ensure the actions are completed within the defined timelines.
Position Specifications :
Education and Experience :
- Min. - BE / BE, MBA / MBA / Any Post Graduate
- ISO 22301 Certification
- CBCP / CBCI / GPG
Relevant experience required is 6-8 years in BCP with exposure to IT DR.
Business understanding - Should have worked on Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Planning for business processes and sites based on ISO22301.
