We offer : To be the area anchor point for all accounting and compliance related matters as well as the senior regional liaison between the frontline and GSC (back office). This includes full ownership of the area financial statements, also includes handling the relationship to external parties such as auditors and tax outsource partners where relevant. Key responsibilities : - Main contact for all compliance and corporate accounting issues - Ensure together with compliance officers that all local rules and regulations are complied with - Work with external parties, vendors like Auditors, Tax Outsourced partners, other local authorities and internal stakeholders to ensure that all audit and tax related matters are dealt with timely and efficiently - Anchor of all accounting deliveries in the area - Drives the delivery of working capital (OtC, PtP, and RtP) across the region in close collaboration with GSC (where most is owned and managed) and part of the area where still locally owned - Ensures a timely bookclose where still managed locally and in close collaboration with the GSC and WCA Region Finance - Owns and provides insight into the area Financial Statements to Regional Controller through close cooperation with the GSC - Inventory, Fixed assets and lease accounting management - Arrange/Prepare material for board meetings of fully owned and JV companies - Regional owner of Transformation drives/Projects - Be a sparring partner to GSC project team to ensure an efficient (on time and on target) delivery of Transformation /Projects - Challenge GSC on ability to deliver the expected outcomes through hypercare Who we are looking for : - Qualified Chartered Accountant - Minimum 10-12 years- experience within a business partnering environment, working as part of a business leadership team - Possess strong domain knowledge and leadership - Proven ability to influence without authority and engage confidently with leaders at all levels - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Possess strong data analytics skills and knowledge of advanced data analytical tools will be an advantage - Strong written and verbal communication skills (presentation skills) - Have the ability to work under pressure - stringent deadlines and tough client conditions that may demand extended working hours.
