- This position at the terminal works with the Way of Working programme, being the terminal program and change manager

- The main responsibility of this role is to implement elements and improvements delivered by the Way of Working program.

- The Way of Working programme is a strategic transformation initiative to drive standardization, collaboration and improvement across APMT operations and functions

- The activities are related to the successful implementation of lean problem solving capabilities, process standardization, improvement initiatives, performance and operational management systems, including the development of new ways to collaborate more effectively and efficiently

In this position, the incumbent will have an opportunity to acquire skills and knowledge in the following areas:

- Driving implementation and change within a strategic important initiative

- Broaden knowledge of the Way of Working program and operational processes

Key Responsibilities:

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Be the local change manager for the Way of Working programme elements

- Positively coach, influence and actively manage leadership behavioural change according the principles developed in the Way of Working program

- Coordinate and drive the local implementation of the Way of Working elements, including Process Standardization, Operating System, Lean Academy and Improvement activities (Kaizens)

- Take ownership of local implementation activities using defined tools and methodologies where applicable and ensure ongoing coordination of local resources involved in corporation with the terminal management

- Drive Lean training and problem-solving and capabilities along with Academy Partner

- Mature the Operating System elements

- Coordinate the data gathering and validation for the program KPI's

- Ensure the local implementation of improvements from Global Kaizens

- Provide timely reporting on program progress, issues and risks

- Continuously review progress and risks according to plans and make necessary changes to action plans to ensure objectives are met

- Ensure to support and facilitate the anchoring of change within the terminal

- Facilitate Policy Development and challenge, mentor and coach.

General Accountabilities:

- Build a strong team by attracting & retaining talent, leading, coaching, mentoring & supporting all direct reports, and recommend their remuneration.

- Create an environment that is supportive of learning, training and developing team's competencies. Must be able to convey criticism in a positive or constructive way.

- Should ensure business impacts and results are delivered through our Way of Working

- Drive, recognize and reward team's performance, providing them with guidance for further improvement.

- Encourage open dialogue and communication so that activities run consistently smoothly.

- Reinforce APM Group culture, values & reputation & ensure compliance with APM Group policies.

Who we are looking for:

- Bachelor or higher degree preferable

- Fluency in local language and English, both written and spoken

- Lean Six Sigma and/or Project Management certification

- Good presentation and facilitation skills

- At least 3-5 years of experience in lean training or a Continuous Improvement deployment role

- Experience with terminal operations is an advantage

- Have the guts and abilities to challenge, mentor and coach senior leaders - even the MD

- Strong senior management change management and interpersonal skills, able to focus on business impact and change in behaviour for the new ways of working and thinking

- Ability to drive implementation of new processes and support the organisational changes

- Ability to communicate at all levels across the local organization and guide them toward the local achievements

- Effective negotiation and conflict resolution skills

- Good workshop facilitation skills, with the ability to adapt to local cultural differences

- Results driven with a strong analytical and problem solving skill set

- Open minded, positive attitude and high drive to succeed and break through barriers

- Ability to perceive situations from different perspectives

- Clear, persuasive and collaborative communication & influencing skills

- Travel may be required occasionally

- Proactively addressing problems jointly with stakeholders before they grow acute

- Experience with working in virtual project team and working with external consultants is also preferred
